New Cruz Bay parking

The Front Yard closed last year, and Courtesy Car Rental relocated a couple of blocks away a few months ago, leaving the landlords with a prime piece of real estate on their hands. What better use of a parking lot…than parking?
Smith Square Parking opened over the weekend, right next door to the police station.
“The leases were up and we decided to do something on our own,” says Frankie Smith, who calls the venture a family affair. “We have other plans for the property down the road, but I don’t want to say anything more about that right now.”
$5 buys you 90 minutes, and $10 is good for four hours, same rates at the Slimman’s lot a couple of blocks away.

This is a really great dal for parking. Can’t wait to use it! 11 months 6 days 4 hours!

Well, the parking sounds great! Even though it is next to the Police Station, there is not a guarantee of theft, vandalism, etc.
What is this world coming to?

Liked it better when Courtesy was there and we could park for free when we rented from them.

You think all the police cars might deter Theft and vandalism. Probably not. I am convince they are just polished card board cut outs cause i haven’t seen one move since i moved here. The amount of money spent on the cleaning supplies for the cop cars should be spent cleaning the schools.. since they get more use, or maybe for another school nurse for the children.
