Haze settles over St. John

From the Trunk Bay overlook to the Coral Bay overlook it is hard to see the views right now. Sahara dust? It is that time of year. Not a great time for photographers.

Nothing can ever ruin the views of St. John. A little Sahara dust can be tolerated. Every morning I go to St. John spice cam (Thanks! Ruth) to see what a beautiful day I am missing on St. John. It is the first time in 21 years that we will not be visiting in July. Our Villas are for rent at the Westin if anyone is interested.
Have a sunny Saturday!

A dusty day on St. John is better than the best day in Kentucky.

The best day in Kentucky is better than a better day in Indiana (Kentucky’s one state closer to the beach)…

Guys, You must have had better days than we have had up here in Boston. In the month of June we have only seen the sun in 3 of the past 27 days. It has been overcast, drizzly or rainy the remaining 27. I’ll trade this junk for the most hazy day in Kentucky, Indiana or STJ. But the bars here are doing banner business and the recent shipment of “Liquid Sunshine” to one of our bars is almost gone….
Cheers……

It does make for some colorful sunsets at times.
