Waterslide at Hawksnest
This is Jason Hubert, who moved from Baltimore to St. John a few weeks ago, putting his climb up the corporate ladder on hold while he tries out the island life.
Jason loves to shoot video and he wants to share some of it with us.
Like this one.
Here’s a look at a water slide beach party at Hawksnest that Jason stumbled across. “Drew and Wes from ZoZo’s and some of their friends set up the slide for all to enjoy,” says Jason.

Hey, Jason and Julie, too,
I was at Hawksnest a few feet away while this fun was going on. It was great to see all of these guys letting a whole lot of kids play as well. The entire beach was entertained.
Hey, if you want to see another of Jason’s talents, ask him to do his card tricks! Mind blowing. Julie stepped up to the plate for Carnival and marched with our Middle Age Majorettes and twirled like a pro. Great couple…great addition to the community.

Hey Jason….ever see the Sunday afternoon model boat races on Cruz Bay?!?!?! Bet they would make for some exciting and entertaining footage… just a thought…since no one else will shoot ‘em…:)

Yes, Middle Age Majorettes! A great group of women who know age is a state of mind and have fun. Scroll back to this site’s July 5-6 to see video of us in action. We wear those silly bikini Tshirts and change the theme each year. I learned to twirl with a Caneel Resort umbrella initially! If you move to St John, ask around, someone can put you in touch with the group.
