On-StJohn.com TV: Meet Lem Callwood
St. John’s Lem Callwood is one of the island’s busiest steel drum musicians. He’s a regular at Caneel and the Westin, he does private bookings… and you can catch him at the Banana Deck on Thursday nights.

Great piece and what a good musician. Pan music reflects the feel of the island and Len is clearly the master of his instrument.

Matilda!…
Steel drums are absolutely the best! And Lem is fantastic!
How about a segment on the Love City Pan Dragons? Some great kids who can play steel and a StJ tradition.

Very nicely done, especially the end. We are tropical hot in NJ but NOTHING beats the visions and sounds of St.John, thank you for bringing them once again. Have a wonderful weekend.

I love steel drum music. There is nothing else quite like it to put you in a Caribbean frame of mind. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Thank you for this little taste.

It’s like laying back during a heavy thunderstiorm and listening to the raindrops – relaxing. Beautiful music. I wish they would teach the steel drum in the states as a musical instrument.
Thanks for the few minutes to reflect.

I have one request for Jeff and Russ. Perhaps every once and a while you guys could simply post a montage of beach and water clips backed by steel drum music. No talking no expalination … just a little something to take the edge off.

Just listened to Lem… as I sit here at my desk (here in Pensacola, Florida) trying to work. Something about that music just makes you SMILE and chair-dance!! I unplugged my earphones and my office buddies looked up and GRINNED! Thanks for this video!
