Beach Break: Mystery beach

Can you identify this beautiful beach? There’s rarely many, if any people here. It’s a little tough to get to, and the mood of the tides decides daily how big the beach will be.

I would hate to be among first people of the day to post and ruin it for everyone else, but I will say that it is one of the few beaches on St. John that we are allowed to anchor a boat at and enjoy!

I agree, the little beach between Cinnamon Bay and Peter Bay.

Does anyone know what the structure is that sits south of this beach and north of 20? Maybe its just a villa.

    Thanks,
    Kevin in Georgia

This “beach less traveled” is Little Cinnamon. Google earth in 3D is wonderful thing. Very nice beach break post – these serve much needed diversions during the change of seasons back in the states…

Love Little Cinnamon. The hike over is very interesting also, not to mention the submerged airplane. Usually very secluded. Great beach.

100% Jumbie Bay between Denis and Trunk with Jost Van Dyke, Great and Little Tobago in background… spent too much time there to miss that one! some great snorkeling around the west tip towards the private beach on Denis

I will vote for Jumbie, based on the view. But, it’s not that hard to get to, as long as a parking spot is available.

Hey lostinphilly…you should stay in Philly because you are 100% WRONG! It’s not Jumbie! 1)Jumbie is not that close to Whistling Cay 2)Jumbie is a VERY short beach, this one is long 3)it’s actually a ‘busy’ beach 4)it’s very easy to get to 5)if you watch the video 3/4 the way through you can actually see Cinnamon cay right next to this beach.

    Next time…

Correction (embarrassed)… think it’s not Jumbie… didn’t watch whole video first time. I think the beach is too deep to be Jumbie, and it’s likely Little Cinnamon. Also, view is too far east to be Jumbie (Jost looks much closer in video).

Geez, I don’t care which beach it is… It’s just simply the most serene beach break ever… Thanks – I needed that…

Well, I am 100% certain that Leinster or Francis is not even close. Leinster doesn’t even have a beach to speak of. So….how long are you going to keep this going before you tell us?

If I’m not mistaken…what appears to be McMansion point indicates Little Cinnamon to me. One of my favorite island days was a dinghy day to Little Cinnamon…

    THE ANSWER IS: LITTLE CINNAMON.
A great dinghy day stop. And that airplane is out there somewhere.
