And today’s restaurant news is…

The restaurant stalwarts are reopening for high season. And Lime Inn has some new stuff going this year.
There is the new, trellised courtyard, where a few tables may eventually be set up. Also new this year, a happy hour food menu, including Italian-style pulled pizza. And the restaurant, serving dinner from 5:30 to 10, Monday through Saturday, is bringing back Saturday night prime rib, going head-to-head with La Plancha for the Saturday night red meat crowd.
As long as they don’t mess with the blue cheese filet, we’re good.
Lime Inn is also serving lunch Monday through Friday and will be closed all day Sunday.

Great seats to catch live music at Fred’s, until they close (too early)…

I like it! The trellis looks great,.. tastefully done. It kind of invites you to come up the stairs…the tables idea sounds nice too. Welcome back Lime Inn.

I LOVE the Lime Inn! It is the best restaurant on the island! And the personal service you get makes you feel right at home.
Have a great year! The improvements are very attractive, although, your food speaks for itself!!!

The blue cheese filet is AWESOME but don’t go there without getting the mussels. I need an extra order to rolls just for the broth…

Ditto on the mussels. We have often times just had those and a salad at the bar. Glad they are open on Saturdays…hope they keep that up for the end of high season (April)…

I love the Lime Inn…great food, and wonderful staff. My son sat and ate THREE buckets of shrimp when he visited!
I sat at the bar one evening waiting for Inner Visions to begin playing at Fred’s (miss Fred…). Two tourists were commenting next to me how cool the tree in the middle of the bar was. I replied, “it looks real doesn’t it?”. They looked surprised and said, “yes, it is isn’t it?”. I told them Line Inn got it from Disney World when they change their theme parks. They were really impressed! Rich, your bartender did lovingly chastise me later!!! Hey, when it is low season, we have to do something to entertain ourselves. May your season be a great one.
