Okay! It’s is about time – the roundabout is almost complete!!! How long has it been? I wasn’t on islands this summer, and I know that it was in progress the previous summer – how long does it take? OH! I forgot – “It’s Island Time”. Keep you fingers crossed – progress has been made! Do you honestly think that the roundabout will make things better at that intersection? I sort liked the challenge to see who thought they had the right a way.

Yes, right now it’s a dusty mess, but Island Roads has done an amazing job of keeping the intersection functional throughout the whole process and I really believe it will be a big improvement over the previous situation when it’s finally done.

This project has actually finished AHEAD of schedule!! Tough to do a huge project like this while still allowing all of the traffic to go through the project. Fabulous job. The stone work is amazing.
