The diet Coke’s in Waterlemon

The Starfish Market renovation turned out well, and even with a lot of things being moved around and relocated, it’s surprisingly easy to find what you’re looking for.
But if you get lost, look up. The aisles are all named after bays and beaches. Crackers and cookies in Chocolate Hole. Cereal’s in Cinnamon Bay.
See what you miss by not looking up?

I love shopping at the Starfish – get there early for the best selection of fresh meats and bakery items. Also, the luchmeats are within reason. A great way to have a picnic on the beach. If they still carry St. Thomas Ice Cream – soooooo creamy! The small pint containers are a refreshing treat and just enough and convenient.
Happy Thursday! 36 degrees from New Jersey!

Looks sweet, I’ll be shopping there next week, can’t wait to see the renovation & the new rotary
in Cruz Bay. Living on Cape Cod, we are use to a rotary but I’m guessing the St. John rotary will be unique as is everything there!
Peace… PS: Loved the latest Jeep Cam

This is great! It’s always nice to shop there but what StJ really needs is a farmer’s market type stand or stands. Someplace with fruits, spices, fresh caught fish, piles of coconuts and mangoes.
Now, what bay aisle is the Carib in?
January 28th, 2010 08:11
**clever**
January 28th, 2010 09:39
Mark, wouldn’t the Carib be in the Drunk Bay isle? BTW, a farmer’s market would be awesome!

Looks appropriate and pleasing.

Do all the readers from Western New York and Ohio feel slighted for using the term “soda” instead of “pop”?
January 28th, 2010 13:00
Looks good!!!
January 28th, 2010 14:11
I love the idea of a farmer’s market! How hard could that be to get implemented?
January 28th, 2010 16:06
Would you find the margarita salt in the Salt Pond Bay isle?
January 28th, 2010 18:17
Luggage in the “Trunk Bay” aisle? Or maybe men’s bathing suits….
January 28th, 2010 19:20
The Rum should be in Coral Bay then, shouldn’t it?
January 28th, 2010 19:45
They have to use soda instead of pop. The owner is David Mugar from Boston who for years paid for the Boston Pops 4th of July fireworks on the Esplanade. He started a supermarket chain in Boston called Star Market. In addition, he honored his folks by naming the Boston Science Museum’s Omni Theater ‘The Mugar Omni Theater’. He is an amazing philanthropist and very down to earth guy.
