Fish Bay paving

Skytop villa owners can now legitimately say “access by paved roads all the way.”
The bumpy, rutty stretch of dirt road between Marina Drive and Cocoloba Trail is getting concrete.
That road is right next to a new Fish Bay nature trail. We’ll take you on a tour of it soon.

Sux. We loved that bumpy, rutty stretch of “road.”

How do they pour concrete in the middle of nowhere? What a great improvement! Is the road closed?
Happy Thursday from New Jersey – snow is coming!

So sad. Ten years ago, we rented Sea Turtle villa…back then, the dirt road started at 104 where the sign says “Dead End” and remained dirt until the final left turn up to the villa. Slowly, we’ve seen patches of concrete replace the wonderful popping sound of dirt and gravel.
That one last patch between Marina Drive and Z-Road being paved now really sux.

Sounds like that’s an almost promise of a possible future Jeep Cam…maybe….

Ya, now the tourists will start coming through with their GPS’s. “I’m sure the Estate Sieben road is right near here.”

Now I can tell our South Shore Villa guests that the trip into town only takes 8 minutes and not 10 minutes.
