New uniforms

Boyson, Inc.’s barge crew is sporting spiffy new uniforms, issued just last month.
Here is Sheniqua, modeling for us. A breathable, cotton-poly blend in a fashionable dove gray. With epaulets and embroidered Boyson, Inc. logo. Very nice.
Speaking of barges, the Roanoke was spotted in St. Thomas, undergoing a major overhaul. Excellent.
Which is your favorite barge?

Sheniqua is my favorite! I might be a little partial though…she’s my niece! Her dad, Ronnie, is one of the Captains…I like him an awful lot too!

I don’t know any barge team members, BUT I would sure like to be there now! We are expecting 24 inches of snow by tomorrow! Happy Friday from New Jersey.

No matter what the weather, Sheniqua always maintains her cool. She gets my vote! The uniforms are a nice touch also.

The uniforms are very nice…Would anyone know how many barges are running daily?

The crew on the barges are great people..
we especially LOVE the one guy that insists he’ll squeeze one more vehicle on the barge…
I do like the uniforms…would NOT want to wear under that sun….
breathable cotton…..yes
breathable polyester….is an oxymoron…
BTW we have a pass for the roanoke…
get well soon!!!

The Roanoke is my favorite even though it is slow. After all they serve drinks. However if the seas are up I take Mr.B.

I was always partial to the Vic crew. When I worked for hospice and travelled between STT and STJ to see terminally ill folks, the Vic and Roanoke allowed us to travel for $1 each way. Very classy. When there was a long line which I never jumped, if they saw me, they would tell folks that I was caring for sick people and made sure that I made it on board. For those who remember Petit Blue…I did that once and it was the scariest ride I ever had. I stayed way up by the rail in case I had to jump!

Favorite Barge – definitely the Roanoke! Chilling on the deck with a cold Carib is the perfect way to switch from travel time to island time. Don’t mind the slower crossing time at all.

I would give anything for a slow crossing with a beverage today. It’s snowing now in Pennsylvania and we are expecting a ton of snow overnight tonight. Can I trade a white landscape for blue water?

My favorite barge is the one that gets me to STJ the quickest…whichever one is there first gets my money.

Well, on April 26, 2007 you said “Vic is our second favorite. It’s slow, but it’s breezy and has a second floor porch. The Roanoke is by far our favorite. “… so I’m gonna go with Roanoke. Favorite.

First time commenter. You guys see shit nobody else notices! Love that. Thanks.

And on January 21st, 2008 you said, “The Roanoke car barge is back after refurbishment in Puerto Rico sporting a new, Rasta-like paint job. This is our favorite barge.” Rest my case.

Pia, Thank you~ Looking forward to St.john in April.

By far and because of the top-deck and bar the ROANOKE is my favorite barge… and from my condo-apt. at Serendip I can tell when it comes and goes because of the potted palm trees. GO ROANOKE!
February 6th, 2010 18:31
The ROANOKE for sure!! Nothing like limin’ with a cold one coming into STJ!!!
February 7th, 2010 10:45
Ohhh, the General made me sea sick every time we rode it!
February 12th, 2010 18:38
I agree with the notion that my favorite barge is the one at the dock, has space for my car and will get me to StJ!
