Wishing they were On-StJohn

A very brave Paul Gallo from Baltimore braved the blizzard for this pose.
Paul says he and his family will be on St. John in 34 days. You guys are not going anywhere this weekend.

Still digging out from 24″ of snow. The local government is saying that Northern Virginia subdivisions may not be plowed until Wednesday or Thursday.

You know it’s bad when Baltimore gets more snow than NH! Enjoy your trip to Paradise, Paul. You earned it…

Just found your site this morning while watching the snow fall…love, love, love it!! (your site, not so much the snow). Bear with me, I’m a dinosauar who’s new to this computer stuff. I’m thrilled that I can talk to people who are on STJ, going to STJ or wishing they were (like me). Let the snow pile up…I’m on St John curtesy of On-St.John!

That is what my house looks like (northern VA). BUT…..we shoveled a path to the street so that we can get out of here today and to St John tonight! Here is hoping all goes well.

Well guys, I didn’t get done shoveling the 27.5 inches of snow until late last night. I will get my snow pictures up sometime today hopefully. I really wish we were onSt John right now!

Wow, that sure is a lot of snow.

Right there with you, Paul. We shoveled at least 2ft, not to mention the drifts, of snow out of our driveway in Harrison City,PA (A little East of Pittsburgh). It took my husband and me 7 hours to do that. To make matters worse, between the layers of snow it was a caribbean blue which made me think of St. John. Now the prediction is 6″ on Tuesday into Wednesday. If you never hear from me again, I probably just threw myself into a snow pile.
