We are so excited to see what Moonshine has to bring.. Cactus was really cool and there is no denying that Igauna Grill is fantastic place!!
I believe Courtney and Nile really have something special on their hands and St John is in for a treat!!

In many efforts to grow and expand in an economy as low as ours is today, I applaud a couple for taking their dreams and making them come true. I met the two of them on my honeymoon and was surprised at how amazing the Mexican food was as I live so close to Mexico myself. They put care and effort into the food on my visit and then took the time to share their story and their restaurant with me as though they had opened up their home and invited me in. My husband and I left that night not only enjoying our meal we enjoyed our time with Courtney and Nile. In the event times have changed and they are willing to move into another venue or type of food I believe it will be just a great as the last and I commend them for lasting and succeeding on such a small island where as US Citizens we take for granted what we have at our finger tips to make our businesses successful one must strive to a higher level to achieve that on St. John! So KUDOS to you both!!! CanÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t wait for the doors to open as my husband and I are planning a trip back soon.

I second Kyle’s comments. Running a business on St John isn’t the easiest occupation and not for the faint of heart. Bravo and Best of luck to them!

I am happy to see the new change. I wish them all the luck in this new venture. Talking negative about a restaurant that has not opened helps no one. In these economic times we all need to support local business and one another. Good luck Moonshine. Buy Local!

All we need is another fine dining steak house. I didn’t like their mexican food and can’t imagine them doing as good of a job as banana deck, zozos, or cruz bay prime.

If they were having a roof problem and were hugely successful, you could bet the problem would have been fixed asap. I would rather them tell it like it is; the Mexican thing didn’t work out and the higher end steak and seafood is where the money is. Just be honest; we all applaud your efforts in running businesses on St. John and wish you much success and if the food is reviewed well- I will drop $150 on dinner for my girl and me- I promise.

Have driven by several times – it sure doesn’t look like they are making an effort to re-open.
