What do you do when it rains?

A cup and a half in an hour and a half.
That was Wednesday’s gusher, and it cost us a boat trip. We’re not happy about that. A rainy day is great for cisterns but not for visitors who only have seven days to soak up their vacation.
How do you substitute fun and sun for for a rainy day? (Our substitution had boozy undertones.)

We mostly ‘hang and bang’ on rainy days.

Oh great, Laura and Fred–now we’ve got sexual undertones to go with the booze. Thanks!!

Oh great! Now I’m stuck with that image of Laura and Fred hanging and banging.

If you like pina coladas, or pain killers or bushwhackers, or peanut bushwhakers or margaritas or rum punches
And getting caught in the rain
If you’re not into yoga
If you have half a brain….

I think they had that swing harness thing at the last villa we stayed at! It was hanging from the ceiling on the screened porch. Looked like a swing, but had stirrups that were more appropriate to an ob/gyn office. Great villa.

We went on the Lind Point trail. Started out cloudy, swam in sun but walked back in torrential rain. It was lovely. Didn’t worry about sunburn, heat or crowds. Then, drumroll please….then we got into the car and PUT ON the HEAT!!!!! We were freezing.
A perfect day.

Hey Jac,
And what villa was that? Might have to put it on the consideration list for our next ‘no kids’ trip!

Rendezvous by the Sea. GREAT villa and great people.

Here’s a link to a photo of the screened porch at Rendezvous By The Sea. The infamous “hanging sex chair” is visible on the left.

Cruz Bay bar crawl!
We were actually there last week for this storm. After a fun drive in the rain from Jumbie, we actually went back to our villa and (GASP!) napped.
