Poor Frannie

Frannie, the cranberry-colored stolen Suzuki Vitara doesn’t appear to have been treated well at all by her abductors.
Frannie was recovered from the police impound lot Monday. The engine overheats, the transmission is locked up.
Owner Homer Hickam says Frannie is a total loss. Will sell for parts. (Frannie, in better days, below.)

That truly is a damn shame, you have to ask yourself what is wrong with people?

So sad! I am sorry for the owners and the person or people that have the need to just be destructive!

Makes me wonder if the police even made an attempt to get fingerprints and run them through a database….

suzukis in the usvi are actually worth more when broken down for parts. Just takes time to sell it all

Great article. This should help boost tourism, for sure.

Breaking news- someone was flashed on St. Thomas. Breaking news- someone on St. John left a wad of cash in the street and someone picked it up and didn’t turn it in.

St. John is still paradise to me and Linda. Frannie’s story is just a cautionary tale.
