Saturday cookout celebrating 20,000 pounds of recycling

The Island Green Building Association is marking its ReSource Depot’s one year anniversary Saturday with a cookout at the ReSource Depot to say thanks for the help in keeping 20,000 pounds of building supplies and home materials out of landfills.
The ReSource Center has been collecting surplus building supplies that might otherwise be thrown away and reselling them to fund the Island Green Building Association’s activities. A more organized, and monetized, form of dumpster diving.
Food and refreshments at the ReSource Depot (Gifft Hill Road at Centerline Road): Tomorrow, 11/26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On hand inventory half-off too.
