La Plancha, La Tapa chefs make Best Chefs America

La Plancha del Mar Chef Anderson Allen and La Tapa’s Alex Ewald both show up in the new Best Chefs America, a coffee table book featuring chefs nominated as outstanding by other chefs.

A total of 10 chefs in the U.S. Virgin Islands are on the inaugural Best Chefs America list.

The book features photography “showcasing the emerging trends and ingredients” its producers gleaned from their nine months of chef interviews.

The forward is written by chef and food writer Michael Ruhlman.
